From specification to suitable supply
Share the material, drawing or sample, dimensions, expected volumes, product-contact conditions and destination. We identify supplier options and request supporting documents for the specific packaging and intended use.
EU requirements to check
Requirements vary by material, application and national market. The tags below describe a review checklist, not certifications held by AGS or a blanket compliance claim.
- Food-contact safety: EC 1935/2004 and good manufacturing practice under EC 2023/2006, including intended-use information and traceability.
- Plastic food-contact materials: EU 10/2011 as amended, with the applicable Declaration of Compliance and supporting migration evidence for the food type, time and temperature.
- Material-specific rules: recycled food-contact plastics under EU 2022/1616; active or intelligent materials under EC 450/2009; ceramics, regenerated cellulose, bisphenol restrictions under EU 2024/3190 and national rules where applicable.
- Packaging and waste: PPWR EU 2025/40, with applicable substance restrictions, conformity documentation, labelling, recyclability and producer-responsibility requirements according to the relevant implementation dates.
- Other applicable controls: REACH substance restrictions, single-use-plastic rules and destination-country registration or disposal requirements where relevant.
Supplier certificates requested where relevant
These are specification-led or voluntary standards, not a universal set of mandatory EU certificates. BRCGS can support packaging safety and quality; ISO standards cover management systems; FSC or PEFC may apply to forest-based materials; EN 13432 is relevant when industrial compostability is claimed. Certificate validity, scope, certified site and product coverage need checking before any claim is made.
Documentation before confirmation
We request relevant supplier declarations, test reports, technical specifications and certificate details. Food-contact conditions, claims, artwork and responsibilities must be agreed for the order. We do not display certification logos without verified authorization.
